Shaw Cricket Club are members of the newly formed Pennine Cricket League and play our home games at Holebottom Clough. All visitors are welcome in the friendly Tats Bar in the club house.
We were founded in 1897 as Shaw St. Paul's and became Shaw Cricket Club during the 1990's when the Club bought the ground from the Methodist Church.
In 2015, the decision was made to disband the Saddleworth & District Cricket League and the Central Lancashire League to form two new leagues - The Greater Manchester Cricket League and the Pennine Cricket League. Shaw CC opted to play in the Pennine League and are currently competing in the Pennine League Championship.
We are a diverse, unique club with two senior teams and several junior teams. We are proud of our junior setup and have numerous ECB Qualified Coaches who run weekly training sessions during the season. We also have an annual Summer School which is run by a top level professional coach.
We are working towards ClubMark accreditation.
We also enjoy ourselves off the pitch by organising many social events throughout the year, including our popular Bonfire Night celebrations.
